The white base coat has been applied. Now it’s time to start laying out the graphics. Because I am 1,300 miles away from the painter these decisions have to be done via email and digital photos. I place notes and update graphic positions on the photos and email them back for the painter to reposition the tape to match my corrections. Day 1 Tape Layout:

The following photos are images of adjustments the painter made based on my notes from Day 1 of taping. As you can see the tail has been modified along with rerouting the stripe to surround the exterior door handle. Day 2 also shows a front ¾ angle that is going to look sharp. Keep in mind that all the paint you see receives a clear coat once the color coat is applied. Day 2 Tape Layout:
